Eurochocolate is an annual chocolate festival that takes place in Perugia, the capital of the Umbria region in central Italy. The festival has been held since 1993 and is one of the largest chocolate festival in Europe.
Eurochocolate draws nearly one million visitors each year. It lasts ten days and is located in Perugia historic centre squares: Piazza Italia, Piazza della Repubblica, Corso Vannucci, Via Mazzini, Via Fani, The Terrace of the Covered Market, and Piazza IV Novembre.
Eurochocolate offers a variety of free chocolate activities including chocolate art displays, experimental chocolate tasting, street performances, and chocolate sculpting.
You can find many chocolate snack (such as chocolate bricks, hot chocolate and chocolate liqueurs) proposed by the most well-known chocolate companies in the world and souvenir options.
During all the year Eurochocolate has extended to other Italian cities such as Rome, Turin, Naples and Modica (Sicily).
